Meet Our Pigs

We should start with our two male studs, the ones our farm is named after. Meet Our Pigs Hamlet and Wilbur who are both KuneKune pigs and were born on May 3, 2023. They have been a wonderful ray of sunshine every day as their unique personalities just shine.

When this was written, Wilbur is definitely the one for the spotlight. Wilbur simply loves attention including ear and belly rubs. He thoroughly enjoys his fruit and veggies each day with berries and apples being his favourite.

Hamlet is a little larger than Wilbur, and has not completely come around to the human contact for belly rubs. He is getting close though as he now will take food from your hands. Wilbur did that on day 1, such different personalities. Hamlet also enjoys his fruit and veggies and has similar favourites.

Meet Our Pigs – Prudence & Petunia

Prudence and Petunia are our two female sows who will be bred come Spring of 2024. They were born on July 14, 2023 so they are a couple of months younger than their future mates. Prudence and Petunia like to eat….. really like to eat. Getting inside the bowl with their food happens daily, we guess they want to get the food into their bellies faster! They both love any veggies we have given them and we think they are growing faster than the boys did, but we will see.
